Game Review Of Path Of Exile Economic System

Path of Exile is an Action RPG, like the Diablo series. If you've never played Diablo, or any ARPG, the basic gist is that you have a character – usually one of the standard fantasy roles like a warrior/barbarian, or a wizard, or a sneaky rogue – and you follow a story which takes you through dungeons and levels full of monsters and bosses and treasure and things just screaming "punch me in the face".

Any game where monsters occasionally drop loot and/or gold when defeated has an inherent inflation mechanism: the amount of total gold in the world is constantly increasing simply through players playing the game. Hence, the value of each gold coin diminishes - unless there are "money sinks" built in the game world economy that naturally remove some of the influx of gold from monster loot (equipment occasionally requiring costly repairs by an NPC is a popular example of such a sink - though perhaps not the best game design).

An important thing that distinguishes the Path of Exile from other titles is the economic system. Forget about collecting money from the bodies of fallen enemies - you will not find any gold coins here. The medium of exchange are various types of orbs with different powers. They are obtained mainly by selling items in stores, sometimes they also fall out of defeated opponents. For the weakest finds we get the most common spheres, and getting the best ones is a quite complicated process. In a nutshell: items must have various types of bonuses, such as, for example, protection against the elements, so that they can be replaced with certain bullets. There are currently over 20 different types of orbs in the game, and the rarest ones require the disposal of booty with different combinations of special abilities.

The idea for a currency that you can use to improve items, such as changing the colors of slots or adding connections between them, is phenomenal. It makes virtually every thing its value in the Path of Exile. Obviously, picking up the worst trash is still pointless, but every magic trash is potentially worth a lot. Naturally, to find out, you must first identify it, but it is rarely a roll thrown into the mud.

Like most of the currently-respected Path of Exile productions, it primarily focuses on network gaming. Of course, we can have fun alone, but only playing with a pack of friends guarantees a really great entertainment. When it comes to multiplayer, PoE is a real drug - you can lose yourself in it for long weeks. Add to that the PvP arena, the possibility of associating in the guilds, and we will get a position that will satisfy even the most demanding freaks of having fun together. One character's death and we are automatically transferred to normal mode. The challenge mode forces players to complete eight challenging tasks in a limited amount of time.

Path of Exile brings in the full charm of an addictive MMORPG with heavy doses. All gamers are hard to avoid. Are you excited to know the big update currently? It must be a pleasant journey. Just gather PoE currency for sale on U4GM to start your wonderful experience.
